About Us

I have been teaching children to swim since 1976, caring for three year old beginners right through to pre-squad level, and I specialise in nervous beginners of all ages – I have vast experience in teaching special needs children with wide ranging conditions such as cerebral palsy, down syndrome and autism.

I focus on the ability of all students,
not the disability!

As well as being Austswim and Aquatics for the Disabled qualified, I am also a Bronze Level coach, and love preparing children for squad.

Lessons are located at the beautiful pool at Epworth Hospital in Richmond, (on-site parking available). With only one class at a time, the atmosphere is quiet and children are less distracted than at bigger, noisy centres.

My classes are different! Children learn in deep water from the very first class and the emphasis is on swimming, not just water familiarisation, and I teach every class. Lessons should be fun and productive!

Come and watch a class in progress and talk to other parents – we love visitors!

Now also offering adult beginner lessons.
